Exercise is Medicine Student Organization (EIMSA)

The Exercise is Medicine Student Association (EIMSA) is the undergraduate student organization housed within the Department of Kinesiology at Kansas State University. It evolved from combining the Exercise is Medicine initiative with the Kinesiology Student Association. The objectives of this organization is to provide experiences beneficial to health majors and those interested in exercise promotion. All majors are welcome!

Requirements to be considered a participating member in good standing:

  1. Accumulate a minimum of 50 points* per year and participation in at least 1 community service event promoting Exercise is Medicine
  2. Pay the $20.00 required dues

Meetings and Announcements

EIMSA meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month in Justin Hall 163 at 7:00 pm.

Point system for membership status

Students receive points for several areas of participation in EIMSA.

Activity Points:
Attending monthly meetings - 10
Attending a social event - 10
Participation in Intramurals - 10
