Student Organizations
The College of Health and Human Sciences' student organizations and interest groups provide opportunities for experiential learning, networking, national and international competitions, travel, volunteer experiences, mentoring experiences, social events, friendships and much more. We encourage you to get involved in a variety of opportunities within the college and across the university.
Athletic Training Club
The Athletic Training Student Association is open to students in the athletic training major. The group gives students a wide perspective on the field as well as the opportunities for involvement at the state, district, and national organization levels. Couple & Family Therapy Club
The Couple and Family Therapy Club brings together students who are interested in the field of couple and family therapy in order to make connections with others in the field, become better informed, and gain a foundation of understanding for what the field of couple and family therapy looks like.

Exercise is Medicine Student Association
The Exercise is Medicine Student Association (EIMSA) is the undergraduate student organization within the department of Kinesiology at Kansas State University. It is an accredited SGA club within the university. The reason there is a EIMSA is to provide the undergraduate student a voice in the department and opportunities to develop professionally.

Family & Consumer Sciences Education Organization (FCSEO)
This organization is open to all students within the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Education major, as well as any student interested in the Family and Consumer Sciences Education program. The FCSEO provides professional development opportunities and promotes the national theme of the Kansas Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (KAFCS) and the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS).

Financial Planning Association at Kansas State University Student Chapter
The purpose of the Student Chapter is to support FPA’s Primary Aim: FPA® is the community that fosters the value of financial planning and advances the financial planning profession. Other purposes of the Student Chapter are to give students the opportunity to learn about financial planning, have exposure to financial planning professionals, obtain internship and employment opportunities and develop leadership skills.

Health and Human Sciences Ambassadors
The mission of the Health and Human Sciences Ambassadors is to promote the college to prospective students and families, current students, and alumni. HHS Ambassadors represent the College of Health and Human Sciences during college and university-wide recruitment events on and off-campus and work to engage our current students in topics such as philanthropy, professional development, and community building.
Students join the HHS Ambassador program to get involved in the college and develop key leadership skills for future professional applications and careers.

Hospitality Management Club (HMC)
The Hospitality Management Club is a student club that combines the talents and energy of business-minded individuals who are passionate about customer service and ready to serve and embrace the myriad of opportunities available in this ever-changing world of hospitality. The mission of this organization is to provide students with the opportunity to learn firsthand about issues and opportunities in the hospitality industry and its related fields and to assist in networking and personal development.
Students join HMC to increase the visibility of hospitality management career opportunities, provide leadership development, and stimulate flow of information between members of the organization, faculty, alumni and industry professionals.
Kansas State Student Speech Hearing Language Association
The K-State chapter of this national student organization encourages professional interest among college and university students in the study of normal and disordered human communication. All students not yet eligible for membership in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association are eligible for membership in this student chapter.

Peace, Conflict, and Trauma Studies - Student Association
Peacebuilders will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers for development of peace and conflict skills, build connections with faculty, collaborate with like-minded students, engage in community events, and build foundational skills for all future walks of life! We recognize our large student population who are enrolled in KSU’s Global Campus, many of our events will include a zoom optional method of participation for your accessibility.
GOALS
PCATS-SA Goals are to:
- Create a collaborative community of students with passion for peace, conflict, and trauma.
- Engage in the Kansas State University community and beyond in activism, peace building, and outreach.
- Represent the Conflict Resolution program to continuing, new, and incoming students in our community, at events, and student visits.

Student Dietetic Association (SDA)
In the Student Dietetic Association, students learn more about food, nutrition, and the dietetics profession by being actively involved in food and nutrition programs and presentations. Students have the opportunity to network with leaders and registered dietitians within dietetics practice. The association supports the university and community through food and nutrition service projects.
Students join SDA to network with registered dietitians in practice, faculty, and peers through programs and socials. Students can also actively participate in university and community service projects related to food and nutrition to gain dietetic related experience.
Students join SDA by becoming a member on OrgCentral. Students can also attend the first meeting for additional information about the association and pay membership dues ($6 per semester or $10 for the year).
