Kansas Insurance Certificate
The Kansas Insurance Certificate is offered by the Department of Personal Financial Planning. The certificate meets the requirements set forth by the Kansas Insurance Department to prepare for the Kansas Insurance License exam.
Program Requirements
Twelve credit hours - nine hours of core content and three hours of specified electives - are required to complete the certificate. Many of these courses must be taken in sequence. For questions regarding course sequences, please email Jill Parker at.
This certificate is a perfect complement for finance majors and others who may be studying professional strategic selling.
Enrolling in the Certificate
There are no entrance requirements to enroll in the certificate program. However, several of the individual courses do require a minimum of a 2.5 GPA as part of their prerequisites.
