Biography
Mindy Joseph, PhD, CFP® is an Assistant Professor at Kansas State University where she teaches undergraduate and doctoral courses. She also serves as the Director of the Financial Services Leadership Institute. Her research interests have been informed by more than twenty years of industry experience and includes the influence of emotional and psychological factors on the financial decisions of emerging adults and underrepresented groups. She is also interested in the ethics and oversight of financial professionals, as well as sudden money situations. Her work has been published in the Financial Planning Review, Journal of Athlete Development and Experience, and the Journal of Financial Therapy. Dr. Joseph holds a B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University. She earned her Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University and is a CFP® certificant.
