Biography

Katelin Schmedemann is the program coordinator for the Personal Financial Planning program. She moved to this role in 2023 from a position in the College of Health and Human Sciences Dean's Office, where she worked for nearly three years. Before that, she worked in the K-State Department of Art while finishing her undergraduate degree in the College of Business Administration as a non-traditional student. Katelin was a student at K-State many years prior, but needing a break, she went on what she would refer to as her "walk-about," taking a break from school, moving to Maine, and working for a small critical access hospital in their outpatient rehabilitation offices for four years.

In her current role, she works to execute events. She helps create engagement opportunities for students with alumni, industry partners, and department friends to continue growing the many connections in our discipline's community.
