Education Abroad Opportunities
We encourage study abroad and participation in our regularly scheduled faculty-led study tours. These opportunities expand our students’ understanding of the world and how their future in will be impacted by global influences. Studying abroad provides students with opportunities to engage in life-changing experiences. In addition to the many programs offered by the university, the school offers specific programs. Financial Aid
The University awards scholarships to help with the cost of education abroad! Discover scholarships and financial aid available to students wanting to study in a different country. Some programs will allow you to pay the normal K-State tuition rather than the tuition rate of the university you are visiting.

Fashion Studies
After you have met with a study abroad advisor and narrowed down your options, set up an appointment with your advisor, to begin planning your study abroad experience.
Fashion Studies students go on semester-long study abroad programs, summer programs abroad, as well as faculty-led trips during academic year breaks and during the summer. Our students have recently studied in England, Guatemala, France, Italy, and South Korea. Studying abroad has many benefits, including gaining international experience and multicultural competency, personal growth and independence, as well as enhancing your fluency in a foreign language. Knowing a foreign language is not required, even when you go to a country where English is not the first or dominant language spoken.
Hospitality Management
Hospitality Management students have had a variety of study abroad opportunities. Faculty have led study trips to Korea (2011 and 2013), France (2013), Costa Rica (2014), Ireland (2015) and Spain and France (2020). The department also hosts culinary workshops that focuses on cultures and cuisines around the world.
