Environmental Impacts on Dementia

Dr. Kaup and two other contributors performed and prepared an evaluation of how the physical settings of those living with dementia affects them.

As an increasing demographic in the United States with no available cure, Alzheimer’s Disease is become a critical group of people that we must design for. Using a myriad of assessment tools, Dr. Kaup’s research study assessed what does and does not improve life for those living with dementia and their caregivers. The need to apply this assessment grows along with the change currently taking place in the long-term care health system.
