Co-Living Inclusivity

In 2019, Dr. Kaup was awarded the Irma Dobkin Universal Design Grant to support her and a team of four undergraduate Interior Design students in their evaluation of a recently constructed post-occupancy project.

The grant awarded to Dr. Kaup and her team will support their project to conduct a post-occupancy evaluation for the Garden Spot Village in New Holland, Pennsylvania. The project will focus on the strategies of inclusiveness that were applied and valued most in the design. The goal is for the students to learn and apply the skills needed to create such an environment for the aging population. Read the article to learn more.
