Aging in Place
A team of four interior design students were recognized by the College of Health and Human Sciences for their research detailing how to support the idea of ‘aging-in-place’, especially in low-income environments.
Third-year interior design students Mikayla Adkins, Brett LaFleur, Hannah Richardson, and Sydney Tucker, under the advising of Dr. Kaup, were recognized for their research in the 2021 Undergraduate Research Showcase, hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry at K-State. At the showcase, they presented their work and findings, which highlighted inclusive aging-in-place design that caters to low-income groups.
