Alicia V. Ybarra is the CEO of Vanya Designs. In addition to owning and operating her business, she fills the position of lead designer in her company and her passion is bringing to life couture bridal and formal wear that reflect her clients own beauty and inspire love. Through a customized couture experience, she works closely with each client to realize their dreams in the design she creates. Vanya Designs has been a business entity since 2009. Alicia holds a M.S in Apparel and Textiles from Kansas State University, with a specialization in Development and Consumer Research.

Vanya Designs launched their first re-order able collection, "Vanya Couture" in the spring 2020. Alicia is the producer of the Wichita non-profit event, Fashion Avant, founded in 2019 which is a fundraising event that provides a platform to elevate students and young designers, providing scholarships, and giving back to the community.

Co-founder of MaskC19 in April, 2020, Alicia led her team to design and manufacture quality fabric face masks to help people safely get back to work. Our mission is to provide a quality product, temporary jobs for the community, and help those on the frontlines.
