McKenzey (Hanna) Witcher graduated from Kansas State University in December of 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel and Textiles, with a specialization in Design and Production and a minor in Business. While at K-State, she worked at the university costume shop as a seamstress and as a sales teammate at Buckle. She completed two internships with Buckle, the sales and management internship and the women’s merchandising internship at the corporate office.
After graduation, she accepted a full-time position with the Buckle women’s buying team, in Kearney, NE, as a product development technical specialist and graphic designer. There she worked on the women’s denim and tops teams designing private label product. McKenzey is now a denim product developer and buyer for The Buckle on the men’s merchandising team, in Kansas City, MO, where she oversees all aspects of the planning, buying, and product development processes for men's price point denim, twill, and denim jackets.
