Kasey holds a B.S. in Apparel and Textile Science, with a specialization in Marketing, and a minor in Mass Communications from Kansas State University. Kasey worked as a marketing coordinator at the KU Memorial Union at the University of Kansas. She oversaw the social media and email marketing efforts at the KU Memorial Union.

In her previous role with VF Corporation, she served as an import specialist for Lee Jeans and Rock & Republic. Kasey was responsible for the ecommerce purchase orders, and assisting with expanding efforts with the European marketing and special projects. She then was a vendor merchandise assistant at Helzberg Diamonds where she tracked, measured, reported, and evaluated performance.

She currently works at Dickies in Texas as a men's merchandiser. She monitors men's workwear competitive market, consumer trends, and products to help in creating competitive analysis for strategy formulation.
