Upon receiving her degree in Apparel and Textiles with a Specialization in Marketing and minor in business, Sarah participated in a Dallas and New York study tour with Dr. Joy Robbins. Sarah served 2 years in the Apparel Marketing and Design Alliance committee, and was the AMDA Fashion Show Coordinator during her junior year. She worked as a Sales Associate at Varney's in apparel and gifts and completed her internship at Gucci in New York City.

She became a Sales Support Specialist at Fossil in Dallas, Texas. There she maintained purchase orders for the corporate markets division as well as Michael Kors and Fossil Jewelry orders with all tier department stores. From there she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to work at Belk as a Merchandise Assistant to the Designer Handbag and Brighton buying office. Sarah then transitioned into an Assistant Buyer. She currently works at Lowe's as an Online Merchant in the Holiday department.
