Professional Biography
Kelsie Doty, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Interior Design and Fashion Studies Department at Kansas State University. She received her PhD in Apparel Design at Cornell University and her MSc and BSc in Apparel and Textiles from Kansas State University. Kelsie's research program considers the intersections of sustainability, fashion supply chains, and communities, approached from a multidisciplinary perspective. She uses qualitative research methods alongside creative design practice to explore sustainable approaches to fashion and textile design.
