Professional Biography

Dr. Yue Teng-Vaughan joined the Department of Hospitality Management as an Assistant Professor from University of Houston, where she earned her Master and Ph.D. degree, and served as an adjunct professor. She currently teaches Financial Management and Cost Controls for Hospitality Industry. Her research interests focus on three themes: strategic decision that influences corporate financial performance, corporate governance that shapes corporate social responsibility performance, and risk management related to corporate social responsibility. She has published research articles in the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Dr. Vaughan has 7 years of industry experiences, most recently as director of operations for a Hilton hotel.
