Military Divorce Communication Study
Dr. Mindy Markham, assistant professor in the School of Family Studies and Human Services, is currently conducting a study to investigate how divorced military parents communicate with former partners and children while physically separated after divorce.
Participants needed for online survey about communication in post-divorce military families
Participants are currently being sought to take part in this research by completing an online survey.
You may be eligible to participate in this survey if you meet the following criteria:
- You are divorced
- You have a child from that marriage and your children are 17 years old or younger
- You or your ex-partner is active duty in the military
The survey will take approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete, and you will have the opportunity at the end of the survey to enter into a drawing to win one of 4 $50 gift cards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to volunteer to participate in an interview and receive $30 for your interview participation.
All information provided will remain confidential, and participation is voluntary. This research study has been approved by the Kansas State University Institutional Review Board.
