Professional Bio
Barb is an instructor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences at Kansas State, teaching Developmmental Cirriculum in Early Childhood Education, Reflective Practice: Infants and Toddlers, and Early Childhood Practicum 1: Infant-Toddler. Barb mentors students in early childhood field placements. Barb is a graduate of KSU (’79 & ’83). She held a similar position at the University of Missouri-Columbia for 21 years before relocating to Manhattan in 2007. Barb has served as an administrator, instructor, trainer, and classroom teacher during her lengthy career in early childhood. She has been an active member of boards and professional organizations.
